Project Description
Hey there,
Chloe here—senior graphic designer at Adobe, mostly parked in Austin but bouncing to San Jose every other week for those scrums that leave me totally fried. I'm 28, got this wild 2-year-old Theo who's all "why" questions and park sprints (love the kid, but chasing him is no joke), and yeah, pregnant with baby #2 right now, which has me feeling like I'm herding cats while trying to nail UX mocks without dropping the ball. Lately, the juggle's been real—my team's solid on this redesign, but we're kinda siloed, not sharing ideas or getting proactive in brainstorms, and it's got me playing fixer instead of just diving into the sketching stuff I live for (or even my evening scone bakes to unwind). The back aches from hunching over my tablet aren't helping either, and with the pregnancy fog, I'm second-guessing how to show up with more energy and get the crew flowing better without burning out more.
Came across your FranklinCovey stuff on personal effectiveness and leadership, and it sounds like it could be a low-key way to unpack that—building trust, communication, and self-management skills to lead better while keeping my sanity. Quick thing: can it tweak for someone like me in hybrid chaos (virtual sessions during Theo's naps?), and how does it help with motivating a creative team to open up while I balance the mom stuff? Any real talk on tying it to energy/well-being for the pregnancy vibes?
Just wanna know if this could help me bring my best self to work (and home) before the little one flips everything. Hit me back if it vibes!
Thanks a ton,
Chloe
